The classroom experience
Our cosmetology and barbering programs consist of lectures and clinical work. You can look forward to:
- Theory readings: You'll learn why you do what you do for an hour every day through textbook readings.
- Lecture demonstrations: You'll watch an instructor demonstrate cosmetology techniques.
- Hands-on practical learning: You'll get your hands on some hair. You'll start your hands-on training from the very beginning of the program.
Our programs follow the academic calendar. You'll complete the first 900 hours in the first academic year and the next 600 hours in the second year. The fall and the beginning of the year are popular start times, so fill out an application today to ensure a spot in your desired course.
